Furnace repair
in the Bay Area

Most Bay Area furnaces run only a few weeks a year, which means dust, corrosion and lazy ignitors. Every furnace call includes a combustion and carbon monoxide check, whether you asked for it or not.

Symptoms

What we see most.

If any of this sounds like your unit, the diagnosis is usually straightforward and the repair is same-visit.

Blows cold air

Failed ignitor or flame sensor — the burner isn't lighting, but the blower still runs.

Clicks then shuts off

Short cycling from a dirty flame sensor, a blocked flue or a tripped limit switch.

No response at all

Thermostat, control board or a tripped safety. Diagnosis first, parts second.

Burning smell that doesn't clear

Dust burn-off should fade in minutes. If it doesn't, shut the system down and call us.

Pricing

Priced after diagnosis, not before.

Parts and labor for furnace repair vary too much by brand and fault to publish a flat rate honestly. A technician diagnoses the issue on site and gives you the exact price in writing — nothing starts until you approve it, and the diagnostic fee is applied to the repair.

Questions

Before you call.

Do you check for carbon monoxide?

Yes, on every furnace visit. A cracked heat exchanger is the one failure we will never patch — if we find one, we tell you straight and shut the unit down.

How often should a furnace be serviced?

Once a year before the cold season. A tune-up costs a fraction of an emergency call in December.

Can you replace a furnace, not just repair it?

Yes, including full system replacement and heat pump conversion. Estimates for installation are free.
