Home / Pricing

No price until
we've seen it.

We don't publish a rate card, and there's a reason for that. The same symptom can be a worn switch on one machine and a control board on another, and a number posted on a website before anyone has looked at your unit is a guess dressed up as a quote. Here's exactly how the money side works instead.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises.

01

Flat diagnostic fee

One agreed fee for the visit and the diagnosis, quoted to you on the phone before we come out. It doesn't change based on what we find.

02

Written price after diagnosis

Once the technician knows what failed, you get the full cost of the repair in writing — parts and labor together, not a verbal estimate that grows later.

03

You decide, then we start

Nothing gets opened up or ordered until you approve the number. If you'd rather not go ahead, you pay the diagnostic fee and nothing else.

04

The fee comes off the repair

Approve the work and the diagnostic fee is credited toward it, so you're not paying twice for the same visit.

What moves the number

Why two identical symptoms cost differently.

Which part actually failed

A door switch and a control board produce the same complaint from across the kitchen, and they're nowhere near the same repair.

The brand and the parts behind it

Sub-Zero, Miele and Gaggenau components are manufacturer-specific with no generic equivalent. Everyday brands usually cost less and arrive faster.

How hard the unit is to reach

A freestanding machine you can roll out and a built-in surrounded by stone and cabinetry are different amounts of work before the repair even starts.

Whether the part is on the van

Common failures are stocked and finished the same visit. Specialized parts get ordered, and we give you a real lead time rather than an optimistic one.

Residential or commercial duty

Walk-in refrigeration and commercial kitchen equipment are built and priced differently from the residential versions of the same appliance.

Whether it's worth repairing at all

Sometimes the honest answer is that replacement wins. We'll tell you that even though it costs us the job.

Every service

What we price this way.

All of it — appliance and HVAC alike. Each page below covers the failures we see most on that equipment, so you can get a sense of what you're dealing with before anyone comes out.

Questions

Before you call.

What does the diagnostic fee cover?

The trip out, the technician's time and a proper diagnosis of what failed and why. You'll know the fee before we're dispatched, and it doesn't change based on what we find.

What if I don't want the repair after the quote?

You pay the diagnostic fee and that's the end of it. No pressure, and you keep the written diagnosis to take elsewhere if you want a second opinion.

Can you give me a ballpark over the phone?

For some jobs, yes — tell the dispatcher the brand, model and symptom and we'll say what the likely range looks like. But it stays a range until a technician has actually seen the unit.

Do you charge extra for evenings or weekends?

Tell us when you book and we'll be upfront about it. Nothing gets added to your bill that wasn't agreed beforehand.

Is the warranty included in the price?

Yes. 90 days on labor and 365 days on parts, included in the quoted price rather than sold as an add-on.
