Service and estimates
A diagnostic fee applies to each visit and is disclosed before the technician is dispatched. After diagnosis you receive a written price. No repair work begins until you approve that price. If you decline the repair, only the diagnostic fee is due.
Warranty
Labor performed by VOLT8 is warranted for 90 days from the date of service. Parts supplied by VOLT8 are warranted for 365 days. The warranty covers the same fault on the same component and does not cover new or unrelated failures, damage from misuse, power surges, pest damage, or work performed by others after our visit.
Access and safety
An adult must be present for the duration of the visit. The technician needs safe access to the equipment, its shutoffs and its power supply. Where a unit cannot be reached safely, we will reschedule rather than improvise.
Cancellations
Appointments can be changed or cancelled at no charge up to two hours before the scheduled window.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work. We accept major cards, and issue an itemized invoice for every job.
Limits
Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service in question. Nothing here limits rights you hold under California consumer law.
