Runs, but blows warm air
Low refrigerant from a leak, a dirty condenser coil, or a compressor that isn't engaging.
Outdoor unit hums and won't start
Almost always a failed run capacitor. It's an inexpensive part and a same-visit fix.
Ice on the refrigerant line
Restricted airflow or low charge. Shut the system off — running it iced will damage the compressor.
Trips the breaker
A short, a seized compressor or an overloaded circuit. This one needs diagnosis before you reset it again.

Do you handle refrigerant legally?
Yes. Our technicians are EPA 608 certified and refrigerant is recovered and charged by the book — no topping off a leaking system and walking away.
Is it worth repairing an old AC?
Past 15 years, and especially on R-22 systems where refrigerant costs more than the repair, replacement usually makes more financial sense. We'll show you both numbers.
Can you service a heat pump too?
Yes — heat pumps, mini-splits and conventional split systems are all covered.
